Platform Buyer Protection
Platform Return Policy
Standard protection for all buyers
3-Day Protection Period
Within 3 days of receiving your order, you are eligible for our platform buyer protection policy. During this period, you can request a full refund for items that are:
- Damaged upon arrival
- Significantly different from the listing description
- Entirely incorrect or wrong items
- Missing essential components described in the listing
To initiate a return under the platform policy, you must:
- Document the issue: Take clear photos showing any damage or discrepancies
- Contact the seller: Message the seller through our platform to explain the issue
- Submit a claim: If the seller doesn't resolve the issue, file a claim through your order history
- Return the item: Once approved, you'll receive a return shipping label
Important Timeline
You must initiate the return process within 3 days of the delivery date shown in the tracking information. This deadline is strictly enforced to ensure a fair process for both buyers and sellers.
After the 3-Day Protection Period
Seller-specific return policies apply
After the 3-day platform protection period ends, the individual seller's return policy applies. Each seller sets their own return policy, which is displayed on their store profile and product listings.
Common Seller Return Policies
No Returns
Some sellers don't accept returns after the 3-day platform protection period.
Exchange Only
Some sellers offer exchanges but not refunds for non-defective returns.
Extended Returns
Some sellers offer 14-30 day return windows with full or partial refunds.
Always check the seller's specific return policy before making a purchase. Seller return policies typically address issues like restocking fees, return shipping costs, and condition requirements.
Refund Process
How refunds are processed and when to expect them
Once a return is approved and the item has been received back by the seller or our warehouse:
- The condition of the returned item will be verified to ensure it matches the reported issue
- Platform protection refunds are typically processed within 3-5 business days of the return being received
- Seller-specific refunds vary according to their policies, but generally take 5-10 business days
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase
Types of Refunds
Full Refund
Complete return of the purchase price and taxes. Applied to platform protection claims and as specified in seller policies.
Partial Refund
Return of a portion of the purchase price. May be applied for items returned with missing parts, used condition, etc.
Store Credit
Some sellers may offer store credit instead of monetary refunds for certain return types.
Non-Returnable Items
Categories with limited or no return options
Some product categories have special return limitations due to their nature:
Digital Products
Software licenses, digital downloads, and subscription services generally cannot be returned once activated.
Custom-Built PCs
Custom-built computers may have limited return options or specialized troubleshooting requirements.
Used Components
Used or open-box components may have more restricted return policies than new items.
Special Order Items
Items specially ordered or custom-configured may not be eligible for standard returns.
